For many years, it was evident that a separate dinning room for the staff, an appropriate dinning room for the residents employed in the workshops and expansion of the physiotherapy was one of the priorities of the sanitorium.
In September of 2003, with efforts of the Ladies Charitable Society and generosity of a donor, this important feat was accomplished and Mehr Building as a rehabilitation complex was built and opened for use.
- Physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and occupational therapy section with an area of 1,500 sq. m. and average height of 4.5 meters
- Staff dinning room on the ground floor with an area of 1,400 sq. m. and average height of 7 meters
- Residents’ dinning room on the 1st floor with an area of 600 sq. m. and average height of 4 meters
