Comprehensive Centre for Children Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation, educational and care services for children with special needs operate in the following three sections:

  1. Day and Night Pediatric Rehabilitation and Care Centre
  2. Pediatric Rehabilitation Centre
  3. Children’s Education and Rehabilitation Day Program


1 – Day and Night Pediatric Rehabilitation and Care Centre

Objective of this centre is to provide care, nursing, occupational therapy and rehabilitation services that provide specialized care to prevent convulsion and increased physical and mental abnormalities for children and to help and improve verbal, behavioral, and motor skills.

Admission Requirements:

  1. Under 15 years of age
  2. IQ under 50
  3. Disability: Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome or other growth and mental problems.

2 – Pediatric Rehabilitation Centre

Includes a rehabilitation team that provides the following services by a specialist: Pediatric, Speech Therapy, Physical Occupational Therapy, Mental Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Light Therapy, Sensory

Admission Requirements: Children with developmental risk factors, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, children with hyperactivity disorder, children with autism spectrum disorders, children with speech problems and learning disabilities…

3 – Children’s Rehabilitation and Education Day Center for Mentally Disable Children

This center offers children with mental disabilities a series of daily educational and rehabilitation services to improve the level of autonomy of children in order for them to achieve the ultimate level of physical, sensory, mental and social performance and function, and to train and strengthen their cognitive self-help skills. These activities include:

Sports activities – teaching cognitive concepts – teaching daily life skills – teaching arts skills – sensory motor training – teaching social interaction exercises, motor activity accompanied by music

Admission Requirements:

  1. Under 15 years of age
  2. IQ over 50
  3. Disability: Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other developmental problems
