3-D Bone Density
In the digital imaging unit of Javad-al-Aameh Clinic, all radiology images of the body are in digital (DR) format that are of high resolution and quality. The images are printed on film and can be transferred to a CD or sent toTelegram. The radiology unit is open 24 hours and images requiring a radiologist’s report, will be ready in 24 hours.
Ordinary and trans-vaginal, pregnancy and fetus, specialized ultrasounds, assessment of abnormal fetus & pregnancy, NB, NT, as well as Doppler ultrasounds od blood vessels on Vinno 80 will be performed by specialists.
Ultrasound unit hours are 3:00-6:00 PM everyday performed by Dr. Navabi. Women’s ultrasounds will be performed by a female physician with appointment.
The best method of early diagnosis of breast cancer in women is mammography. Prevention of this disease is by having regular mammograms under supervision of a specialist.
Mammography in this centre is done fully digital and of high quality laser printed on film. With the new Amult Innovality equipment, there is less compression, it is automatic and with minimum amount of radiation exposure. Mammography is available daily with appointment.
Bone Density Measurement
DMS brand from France, is the most advanced bone density measurement equipment in the country. Some of its unique features include:
- Advanced tissue system with 3-D simulation capability
- Advanced high-resolution presentation
- Improvement and simulation of images rendering accurate 3-D images with least possibility of error in diagnosis
- Bone density of all parts of the body including lower back vertebrae, hip and wrist and reconstruction of hip bone are carried out at this centre.
Patients can be seen everyday with appointment made in person or by phone.
Digital Panorex (teeth)
Full digital Panorex imaging is available at this centre. All images are available on film and/or CD. Hours are 7:30 to 21:30.
Approval has been obtained for installation of a CT scan machine. Preparation of installation site is underway and the equipment has been ordered with the funds provided by generous donors. This unit will be functional in 2017.
